Refund Policy

We want He Whare Ora to deliver real value to your tenants, operators and contractors. This policy explains when refunds apply for paid subscriptions.

1. Cancellation any time

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account. Your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing period. After that, no further charges will be made.

2. 14-day satisfaction window

If you sign up for a paid plan for the first time and decide it is not the right fit, contact us within 14 days of your first paid invoice and we will issue a full refund of that invoice. This applies once per organisation.

3. Monthly subscriptions

Outside the 14-day window, monthly subscription fees are non-refundable. You will not be charged for the next month once you cancel.

4. Annual subscriptions

If you cancel an annual plan part-way through the term, we will refund the unused whole months on a pro-rata basis, less any discount that was applied for committing to an annual term.

5. Promo codes & free programmes

Plans activated under a promotional code (for example, the 12-month free programme for the Tauhara North No.2 Trust papakāinga programme) are not eligible for cash refunds, as no payment was made.

6. Government & Enterprise plans

Refunds for Government and Enterprise tiers are governed by the written agreement between us and your organisation. Where no specific term applies, the same principles as annual subscriptions apply.

7. Billing errors & duplicate charges

If you spot a billing error, duplicate charge or charge for a service you did not receive, contact us within 60 days and we will investigate and refund any incorrectly charged amount.

8. Consumer guarantees

Nothing in this policy limits the rights you have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or equivalent consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.

9. How to request a refund

Email mahi@coruscant.ch with your organisation name, the email on your account, and the invoice you would like refunded. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe within 5–10 business days.
